I was home sick today...really. And so at 10 a.m., I woke up long enough to turn on The Price is Right. I can't believe Drew Carey is still on there. He's so terrible. He doesn't even act like he cares.
Today was the "earth day" show. All the prizes had some environmentally friendly tie to them. It was really weird. How come I love the show so much?
Today's Showcase Showdown was worth $45,000! It was an electric bicycle, a solar powered golf cart, and a Toyota Prius...all presented by, (Drew Carey said) "My good friend Ed Begley Jr."
Who remembers Ed Begley Jr.? He's a has-been. AND to top it all off, he couldn't even put decent clothes on. He shows up wearing a pair of blue jeans and a blue oxford shirt. Like he was there to pick up a paycheck or something and they asked him to be on the price is right at the last minute. Don't they have stylists at CBS? Please!
OK. Now I feel better. It makes me happy I have a job during the day. I can just remember the Price is Right as it WAS...not as it is. Hmph!
